Health and Safety Awareness in the Workplace – Level 1

This qualification is designed for those learners either currently working or those returning or starting work and wishing to gain a qualification in health and safety.

To complete this qualification learners should expect to undertake approximately 5 hours of learning, with a minimum contact time of 4 hours.

The qualification covers the following:

• Understanding of the main responsibilities of employees and employers with regards to health and safety
• How the workplace can affect health and safety
